The Role of the AMVETS National Commander

As the National Commander, Horace Johnson’s responsibilities are vast and critical to the success of AMVETS’ mission. Below are some of the key duties he will be undertaking:

  1. Advocacy for Veterans’ Rights

This includes giving speeches, attending ceremonies, and participating in discussions that highlight the issues facing veterans today. His ability to effectively communicate the mission and goals of AMVETS will be essential in raising awareness and garnering support for the organization’s initiatives.
